NB 1520

It's pretty rare that a shoe will come through our studio and stir up attention from pretty much everyone. And while it might not be "all that" for everyone, we're really into this shoe. The 1520 will be released sometime in Q1 2009. So, if you're anything like us, you might keep an eye out.

Now then, the shot. The lighting scheme is pretty much the same as the shot I posted a few days back. When given the opportunity, I've been working a little on reproducing some editorial, advertising-style, dramatic lighting styles that are known for portrait when shooting shoes. I haven't seen that done with product photography too much before. But shoes that are dramatic deserve to be portrayed that way....right?!
